Although these days my passion is working on the web, my design career began in the print media industry. Most advocates of print media are quick to concede the obvious advantages of Web media. They would endeavor to develop design concepts and apply visual perception science with desktop publishing techniques for print counterparts of online media. The end goal is to have these two media work together, not against each other. And each would have uses of its own that the other can complement, support, and bolster.
